Our Applied Flight Test Engineering Course Series focuses on teaching practical aspects of flight testing with lots of coding in Python and simulated test flights. In this series of online courses, you will write flight test data analysis codes and an automatic flight control system for an aircraft, which you will then flight test in commercially available flight simulator software.
Flight Training for Flight Test Engineers
Primary and advanced flight training for flight test engineers (FTEs), designed to build upon your expertise as an FTE. We present the aerodynamics and flight dynamics material in the professional language you are accustomed to as an FTE and connect your hands-on flying lessons to your existing knowledge for faster flight training progress and simultaneously increased insights into your main FTE job.
Ideally, you would fly directly with us. However, we would be just as happy merely to cover the theory online and connect it to your ongoing flight training experience at your local flight school, if this is more convenient for you.
