Online Aerospace and STEM Education Course Series

Live online lectures and discussion sessions take place (almost) weekly. They cover topics in aerospace and flight test engineering, as well as related computer programming and data science applications.

  • Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. EDT / 4:30 p.m. PDT / 1:30 p.m. HST / 9:30 a.m. ChST / 8:30 a.m. JST

For more information about the course series, currently covered topics, and for course registration, please go to our Aerospace and STEM Education Course Series page by clicking on the button below. Connection info: Same standard MS teams link / Meeting ID as above (if you do not have it, please register).

Related (but different) is our semi-free online course intended to be completed in self-study at your own pace:
“Data Analysis and Computing with Python for Pilots and Flight Test Engineers”
We highly recommend it for general education and universal competence building. It also serves as a prerequisite for some of our more advanced courses.

Special Online Lectures by Guest Speakers

These lectures are either organized directly by us, or by others and we can arrange access for you. Upcoming lectures:

  • Saturday, May 4, 2024, 10:30 a.m. EDT: Q&A Session with Pilots/Aircrew from the United States Coast Guard
Organized by Melanie Maestre, Public Affairs Officer of the Opa-Locka Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP)

USCG pilots answer questions from participants, tell about their experiences, and provide career advice in USCG. (For an informal comparison to the German Coast Guard, see this brief video.)
Note: Participants in this particular event must be either Cadets, Senior Members, or AEMs of CAP. CAP ID required during registration for verification. You may share the received MS Teams link after registration with other members within your CAP unit/wing. We are hoping for a large turnout.

Please register with the Special Lecture Registration Form below for particular special lectures of interest to you. After you register, you will receive an email from us with the online meeting information and a link for the specific lecture(s) you registered for. This link is individual for every special lecture and different from the standard MS Teams link / Meeting ID used for our two regular events above.
