Our free weekly online office hours are held on
Wednesdays, 9-10pm, EDT.
As all our online events, our office hours are hosted using the Zoom video/web conferencing platform. We provide easy, illustrated step-by-step installations and usage instructions here.
If you are an existing customer, you have already obtained our office hours Zoom Meeting ID. If you are not an existing customer, yet would still like to attend office hours, please contact us to request the Meeting ID.
What are the free office hours for?
Developing our courses has cost a lot of time and effort, and we need to be compensated for that time. However, at the same time we recognize that paying for instruction by the hour is pedagogical nonsense and an unfortunate idiosyncrasy ingrained in the culture of the flight training industry. No respectable academic institution operates on a pay-by-the-hour format, because it suppresses the students’ desire to ask questions and inhibits learning.
Therefore, we hold free office hours for our clients once a week. This gives you the opportunity to ask whatever you like, without having to look at the clock. Join us!
Who may attend?
In principle, anybody, though we will give priority to existing customers to ask questions if the office hours are crowded.
If you are a child/adolescent attending middle or high school who has been reading the test pilot school textbooks referenced in our bibliography, you are particularly encouraged to attend office hours. It is our contribution to the aviation community and reflects our commitment to the development of the next generation of outstanding aviators.
